In 1995, Kenneth Agee, John Adams, and Ron Redburn decided to start a business built around Ken’s substantial computer programming skills and know-how. Ken's initial idea was only to create a computer dating network between bars and restaurants in the Phoenix metro area.
But being surrounded by two equally brilliant and creative thinkers, the original idea expanded into a worldwide online matchmaking organization. Being singles themselves, the idea wasn’t only a visionary business opportunity for the (then) three bachelors but also an exciting new adventure.
It took Ken, John, and Ron countless sleepless nights and several long days of planning combined with a small start-up investment before they finally saw a tangible result. On February 10, 1996, however, LoveMe.com was finally registered with Register.com, Inc. and became the first Internet-based international marriage agency in the world.
Owners John Adams and Ron Redburn, along with Chief Technical Officer Ken Agee and International Tour Leader Bud Patterson, have all found and married Russian brides with the help of LoveMe.com/A Foreign Affair. They are living proof that not only does the process work but that a lifetime of happiness can start with a single email, phone call or an AFA Singles Tour. Today, AFA continues to lead the industry by offering more Singles Tours to more destinations than any other company in the world.
If you have any questions or comments about our service please feel free to call us. Again, we sincerely appreciate the fact that you have considered using our service.
